Doing online show is really fun, as I can stay at home and watch out my show bears from internet, and don't have to travel around the world to show everyone my bears.

It's really suit me as stay at home mom with 2 lovely kids. ^_^

My next online show will be on 12~14 July 2013.

This is my preview bear, his name is Johnny the Snowman.

I had a lot of fun create him, and I did the clay "Carrot" nose for him to make him really "Snowman" looking.

I have also added a music box in his body, that plays Santa Claus is coming to town".

As I haven't see a bear with music box for very long time, and I always want to create a bear that has a music box.

Then here he is! :D

My NEW hobby

As been a mom with 2 kids, 1 of 4 yrs old & another one just 5 months old. I found I have less and less time to do anything that I like, especially bear making!

But I just found an interesting hobby recently!
It's "Deco-den"!!
It means "decorating mobile phone" in Japanese, it's been very popular in Asian countries, but hard to see in Australia.

This is rhinestone doll phone case!
It's really bling bling, and... it's teddy bear!! :-))

What I am up to

Sorry haven't update my blog for very long time.
As there is a new family member join us from 3rd of March!
Our new baby boy, Matthew! He is now 5 months old, where did the time past?

Anyway, I have done an online show on 13~15th of July.
I did sold 2 bears on that show! It's the best online show that I have done in these couple of years!!

As I am so busy with 2 kids right now, I won't be able to travel for "personal show", so online show is best choice for me!
Hope I can do more online show in the future! :-))

My next online show

My next online show will be with Teddies Worldwide, and it's on 23-25 of March.
The theme is Teddy bear's tea party.

I am so glad I have been chosen again, as I did an online show with Teddies Worldwide on last July, and that was really successful.

I have lots idea for this tea party theme, but I will have very limited time to make the bears!!
Because I am expecting my 2nd baby on 6th of March, and I will be NO TIME for making bears anymore after the baby is born.

So I have to be hurry up to finish as many as I can before the date.
Because I really don't want to miss out my first online show in 2012!! :-))

Naughty Tommy

I just keep forgot to upload this picture, his name is "Naughty Tommy".
He is my TACDA entry 2011.

I was so proud that I can finish him, as he got lots details on his paw pads.

Each of the details are made from ultrasuede, and hand sew them one by one, as they are really tiny. The biggest one only 0.5cm circumference!

I am very happy he is living in a lovely home in Canada right now. :-D

Attached photo is my sneak peek bears photo, I have an antique style bear this time.
I don't use to make antique style bear, but after this bear, I found making antique bear is really fun to "play with"!
As I tea dyed the mohair and scissors cut the fur to make him looks more "old"... :-P

There has slide show for all artists' bears on the website, they all look fantastic! Couldn't wait to see all of them! :-D

Eddie Cullen

Eddie Cullen is another of my bear for Valentine's Day show.

I really like Twilight Saga, although lots people say those movies are really childish, they are for teenage (or below).

But I still like the story -- human fall in love with vampire...LOL

I created a boy bear and a girl bear, they are named Eddie Cullen (Edward Cullen) and Eliza Swan (Isabella Swan).



I sold Eliza Swan, and Eddie is still here with me, so he is here for adopt.

Eddie has a very special mohair, it's South Africa mohair, it's white colour with few silver pile here and there.

I also made Eddie as a pose that he is going to take off his vest, and let his crystal shinning skin to expose.

Be Mine -- Valentine's Day bear

I created this bear for Bear Artist Online's Valentine's Day show this year.

I always love online show, as I can sit in my own home & browse all of the bears that from all over the world.



"Be Mine" is a lovely and adorable bear, with embrodiered footpads.

On her right footpad has "Two love hearts", and left footpad has "Be Mine" as you can see on photo.

I really love her rich yellow colour hand-dyed mohair, and I have to mention that glass bead necklace -- I used variety beads to create this necklace, also the string at inside is elastic and it's stretchy.

So you even can wear it on your wrist as a braclet! :-))

commision bear of Valentine's Day

This is a commision bear of Valentine's Day 2011.

One of my customers who had ordered a bear from me about 7 years ago, found me at Facebook. He ordered this bear for her girlfriend just 3 weeks before Valentine's Day. It's a rush job, and he lives in USA, and I have to post this bear to him on time!

He only requests the bear has to have embrodiery of "S (heart) J 2011" on bear's chest.

Luckily I already had a bear that was pre-sew on, so I started work from that. And there he is!

NEW Pomeranian puppy

This new Pomeranian puppy is my latest custom order dog.
Aren't he just cute??

He was finished pure white on fur, and I air-brushed hem all over to give him a unique look.
He is open mouth with sitting position, and he also has 3 way joints on head and 2 back legs.

I really enjoy created him, hope his owener will love him too. :-))

2010 Halloween Bear

Amenda is my latest 2010 Halloween bear, she has orange (pumkin colour) German Schulte short pile mohair, and wearing spider web printed cotten dress with pom pom trim on skirt hem.
I even added 2 spider earrings on her dress, can you see them? :-D

Amenda's paw pads are also Halloween theme printed cotton fabric, and finish her with black lace on her head, to give her a fully Halloween style.

ACD Award Nominee bear -- Angelina

She is my ACD Award Nominee bear -- Angelina.

She is a beatiful and happy fairy bear and already found her new home in New Maxico, USA.
I believe she will be a good girl to join her new mom's bear family. :-D

I really had a great time and very happy that my ACD Award nominee bear is been adopted.

This is Princess Ariel. She is a mermaid bear that I also made her as a "tissue box cover".
I always want to make a bear is not only for "display", it also can be "usable".
So I have made a purse bear on last online show, and Princess Ariel is my latest design of "usable bear series".
I have heaps idea in my brain, hopefully I have time to do them all! :-D

Sneak Peak for Who is Who in Bear Making

This Sneak Peak is my bears which will show in Who is Who in Bear Making show.

There will have 2 online bear shows coming on May.
I was struggling to finish 5 bears on 3 weeks, as I was so busy on April... just moved house, unpacking all of the stuffs, taking care of daughter, back to work as part time...

I was really beleive I can't finish those bears, because I only got such limited time and I have 5 bears to finish!Luckly that I didn't give up!
I was not going anywhere in the mean time, not even shopping or go to gym, and only stay at home to finish them!
Hopefully they will get sell on the day!

First show is Who is Who in Bear Making online bear show, it is on 15 & 16th of May.
Second show is Fantasy Ball online bear show, it is from 31th of May until 6th of June.

I will show another Sneak Peak for Fantasy Ball very soon. :-))

ACD Awards

It's only 3 weeks to ACD Awards deadline...

I just started to cut out my mohair pieces,
I don't know why I always like to do things at the last minutes?
Because I don't feel I can do it nicely if I finish it "early".

But this time I got to be quick, because we are going to move to our new home at 28th of March.
And the ACD Awards dealine is at 1st of April!
Time's ticking, I have to be hurry!

Our new home is a 2 bedrooms townhouse, it won't have my workroom like the currect house that we are living in.
So I have to find a spot that I can squeeze in to keep making my bears...
